Harvest Festival
Autumn is a time for tradition and remembering the roots of the farming way of life.
When the summer is over, the cows are all safely back from the mountain pastures and the harvest has been gathered in, we pay homage to and celebrate the bounty of nature with a harvest festival and a decorative procession of livestock. At this time of the year, in particular – Indian summer and autumn – the sun bathes the trees in a golden light, making the mountains even more spectacular than usual. Contemplation and relief go hand in hand: an atmosphere that transforms hiking into a meaningful ritual.
